We’re looking for an intermediate to senior level HR professional who shares these values to join our small yet mighty team. At RYHR, the one thing our team value the most is each other. At the heart of what we do are our client partnerships, helping organisations and their leaders to create better workplaces. Our clients are mainly small and medium organisations across all sectors throughout New Zealand. We provide our clients with true HR generalist advice and support - working through employment issues (from the simple to the gnarly), performance and development, recruitment, people strategy, remuneration, culture and engagement, and anything in between. Each person brings their experience and knowledge to our team (often from larger organisations) and tailors this to suit how small / medium businesses work. In terms of how you work, this is probably the biggest difference to internal HR - with not being part of an organisation, you get to see things objectively while creating trusted client relationships. Our clients appreciate our cool, calm and collected approach. Being organised is a given and you are comfortable moving between client work throughout the day. We often operate in the grey and you need to be OK with this, adapting your advice and getting creative to suit the client and situation. Our team are super flexible in how we work – we trust you. Our main office is in the mighty Manawatū but you could be based anywhere with reliable Wi-Fi. Most of our clients are in the central and lower North Island and often it’s nice to meet them in person, but this isn't a deal breaker.
