HVAC & Electrical Supervisor

The Role: As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating installation, maintenance and projects in the Waikato region. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful work completion.
• Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and Electrical systems on commercial projects.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within specified timelines and budgets.
• Conducting on-site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Contributing to the training and development of technicians & apprentices within the branch.
• Providing technical expertise and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Hands-on position with time divided between field services and office work.

Skills and Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or a similar leadership position in the HVAC or Electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC or Electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Sound understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• A relevant trade qualification or certification in HVAC or Electrical field.
