Job Description Job Title: Direct Sales Agent (DSA) Type of the Job: Full Time (48 Hours per week) Purpose of the Position: To promote, educate and sell prospect customers one or more of Retail Banking Products and Services and assist them to complete the application. Main Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process new proposals/applications.
- Collect information from clients to complete credit applications.
- Prepare documents assessing the customer’s financial status focusing on salary, collateral capacity in repayment, cash flow, and transaction structure in line with the AUB Retail Banking policy.
- Provide day-to-day support for home loans customers.
- Respond to customer queries regarding their accounts and mortgage loan facility.
- Submit customer applications/sales and register them in the sales report.
- Prepare and administer client and facility documentation as required.
- Process customer instructions to ensure timely response and high-quality service.
- Register and book home mortgage loans in the system before disbursement by the operations department.
- Prepare outstanding letters and collateral release applications.
- Process company applications & loans.
- Follow up with customers & developers to process loan drawdowns.
- Maintain and develop business relationships with key contacts within preferred employers for future business sourcing.
- Follow up with developers and bank representatives on the availability/readiness of property deeds to register a mortgage.
- Follow up with customers & insurance companies on the yearly renewal of insurance applications.
- Act as a backup for the secured lending division whenever needed.
- Develop daily sales plans and share them with the team leader.
- Prepare activity reports.
- Responsibilities and duties may change or be added due to work requirements.
- It is the responsibility of the DSA to provide a car and mobile to conduct business with prospective customers.
- Ensure selling based on needs and avoid mis-selling by communicating proper information with prospective customers.

- University Bachelor’s Degree OR Diploma in Banking/Finance, Accounting, Sales/Marketing major.
- Experience in sales & marketing, specifically in banking products.
- If holding a Diploma, 3 years’ experience in banking & sales products is essential.
