The ideal candidate will not only bring financial expertise, but also a passion for applying the latest technology to drive efficiency and solve problems.During your tenure as an Accounts Payable Experienced Associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:Competent to oversee AP operations on their own and lead various improvement activities over the course of timePrepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.Responsible for the processing of vendor invoices in system and ensure appropriate approval is obtained in accordance with the approval matrixPrepare vendor payments as per payment cycles and follow up with bank approvers on pending approvalsBe a go to person for any AP related issuesTo ensure periodical vendor reconciliations and balance confirmations are availableMonitor invoice flow and ensure excellent accounting qualitySupport resolving process challenges and exceptions, initiate improvement projects, and drive continuous enhancements in the processOversee and get involved in the creation of work instructions and guidelines for AP Team; continually monitor, update and communicate observations and actions to be undertakenMaintain successful working relationships with stakeholdersQualifications & Requirements:All finance modules are on Microsoft Dynamics so the individual should be aware of ERP/ Dynamics usageBased in Dubai - UAEExperience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethicKnowledge of VAT/Tax based economy and systems is essentialBackground in: Accounts Payables, Depreciation of fixed Assets, Vendor Reconciliation, Auditing, ICV, Bank Reconciliation, Prepaids and Accruals3- 4 years of relevant experience ideally in a professional services firmAble to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationshipsStrong knowledge of MS Office Packages. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word in particularStrong accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting policies (2+ years of experience in finance/controlling or similar role)Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Accounting qualification is a plusVery good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; Arabic preferredOpen mind with cultural sensitivity; well-structured and self-driven work approachStrong communication and partnering skills with people from all levels of the company
