Google Analytics Implementation Expert - GA4

Role:The GA4 Implementation Expert will be responsible for the setup and optimization of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) across multiple websites. This role involves configuring custom events, setting up data layers, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GA4 features, a strong technical background, and relevant certifications.Key Responsibilities:Implement and configure GA4 on multiple websites.Develop and set up custom events to track user interactions.Create and manage data layers to ensure accurate data collection.Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues.Collaborate with web development and marketing teams to align tracking strategies with business goals.Ideal Skillset:Proficiency in GA4: Extensive experience with Google Analytics 4, including setup, configuration, and custom event tracking.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for implementing tracking codes and data layers.Experience with Tag Management Systems: Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) for deploying GA4 tags and managing triggers and variables.Data Layer Expertise: Ability to create and manage data layers to ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to tracking and analytics.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Certifications:Google Analytics Certification: Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ).GA4 Certification: Any specialized GA4 training or certification programs.Tag Management Certification: Certification in Google Tag Manager or similar tag management systems.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or Matomo.Familiarity with server-side tagging.Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
