JOB PURPOSE:

Performs various operational activities on the Derrick, rig floor and around the wellhead. Includes working on the Derrick to pull out and run in drill string, operating and maintaining mud mixing systems, controlling mud mixing systems, inspecting draw works, derrick mast; and reporting faulty equipment, performing routine maintenance and observing Company's safety rules and regulations on assigned rig.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education complemented with short training courses on drilling operations (12 months equivalent) as well as onshore working environment.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

4 years' experience in drilling operations.

Good knowledge of English.
