Assistant Professor of English (CoSGS)#151023Alfaisal University's College of Science invites applications for a full-time assistant professor of English. While research and service are expected and supported, the job is teaching-focused: English professors are assigned 12-14 hours of weekly classroom teaching (mostly within the first-year composition sequence). The position will begin in fall 2024, and responsibilities include lesson preparation, assisting with curriculum development and assessment, mentoring and advising students, attending staff meetings and workshops, and playing a full and active part in the life of the university. The university has a writing center as part of our Academic Success Center, a new writing-to-learn program, and a variety of burgeoning workshops and publications.
