The DWCH targets clinical services, educational programs and research by optimizing shared resources to teach innovative courses in areas of high relevance to maternal and child survival in developing countries and establishing a strong referral system across the primary, secondary and tertiary care levels, hence, making continuity of care possible.Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Divisional Manager, in the Division of Women and Child Health.Responsibilities:You will be responsible to:assist the Chair, DWCH with the operations of the Division and CoE-WCH

provide support to Managers of Paediatrics & Child Health and Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department.

liaise with other Departments within the University for administrative activities of the Division and facilitate departmental colleagues and faculty members in their admin/clinical work.

provide administrative and logistics support in planning, organizing, and executing various events (CME / CPD, Retreats, Seminars Workshops & National and International Symposiums)

facilitate and manage the Section of Genetics and Metabolic

facilitate annual appraisal and LOE for departmental faculty

maintain departmental files updated as per the JCIA requirements at the Department and Division level

manage and maintain the records of BVR and liaise with P&B (finance) for any discrepancies

monitor the Divisions Budget Variance Report and take appropriate measures as necessary

Requirements:You should have:a minimum of Master's degree in Business Administration / Health Administration or equivalent from a reputed university

at least 6-8 years of relevant experience in health care administration

knowledge of resource management including financial management and have good negotiation skills

ability to analyse budget variance reports and statistical data

ability to work in harmony with team members, nurture the spirit of collegiality and provide an environment of equal opportunity for all

ability to bring in innovative ideas and think out of the box
