Responsibilities:Designdevelop and maintain database systems to ensure efficient storageretrieval and manipulation of data.Collaboratewith software developers system architects and other stakeholdersto understand database requirements and translate them intotechnical specifications.Perform data modelingschema design and database optimization to support applicationdevelopment and business objectives.Configureand administer database management systems (DBMS) such as OracleSQL Server MySQL or PostgreSQL.Implement andmaintain database security policies access controls and dataencryption mechanisms to protect sensitiveinformation.Monitor database performancetroubleshoot issues and optimize query performance to ensure highavailability and responsiveness.Plan andexecute database backups disaster recovery procedures and databasemigrations in accordance with established policies andprocedures.Develop and maintain documentationrelated to database architecture configurations andprocedures.Evaluate and recommend new databasetechnologies tools and techniques to enhance database performancescalability and reliability.Provide technicalguidance and support to junior database administrators and otherteammembers.Requirements:Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.Minimum of 4 years of experience workingas a Database Engineer Database Administrator or similar role inthe UAE.Proficiency in database managementsystems such as Oracle SQL Server MySQL orPostgreSQL.Strong understanding of databasedesign principles normalization indexing and queryoptimization.Handson experience with databaseadministration tasks such as installation configuration performancetuning and troubleshooting.Knowledge ofdatabase security best practices including access controlsauthentication mechanisms and encryptiontechniques.Experience with database backup andrecovery procedures disaster recovery planning and databasereplication.Familiarity with databasemonitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise ManagerSQL Server Management Studio orpgAdmin.Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolvecomplex database issues.Strong communicationand collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in ateam environment.RemoteWork : No INT
