Offers a wide range of counselingservices including but not limited to: (a) individual and groupcounseling (b) preventative, psycho-educational and skills-trainingworkshops that enhance and support students andemployees' psychological well being (c) time sensitiveintervention and outreach programs focused on students'personal growth and development.Develops andadminister treatment therapies and strategies to accurately helpstudents and employees.Provides time sensitivecounseling for students and employees who experience criticalpsychological distress or need urgent care due to trauma, abuse,anxiety etc.Strives to promote an atmosphereof trust, confidentiality and respect to encourage parents as wellas the AUS community in seeking services or consultation and/orreferral aimed at students' psychological health and wellbeing.Represents the University CounselingCenter on University committees or task-force groups concerningemployees'/student's psychological health andwell being.Represents the UniversityCounseling Center on all major programs such as NewStudents' Orientation, Parents' Orientation,Registration, Open Days, Study Abroad Programs, Careers eventsetc.Maintains and safeguards confidentialinformation including client files, reports and records as mandatedby the profession.Participates in thedevelopment of policies, procedures and manuals guiding theoperations and functions of the center, to ensure that all relevantprocedures requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality,cost effective service to students andemployees.Currently in charge of data analysisand reporting for the service to be shared with the Director ofUniversity Health Services and Executive Director of EmployeeServices.UAE nationalpreferred.
