KeyResponsibilitiesLead and manage the hosting and cloudservices team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services andsupport to internal stakeholders and externalclients.Develop and implement the overallhosting and cloud strategy, in alignment with the company'sbusiness objectives.Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and projectmanagement, to identify hosting and cloud requirements and provideappropriate solutions.Oversee the design,implementation, and maintenance of hosting and cloudinfrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, andreliability.Stay up to date with the latestindustry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relatedto hosting and cloud services, particularly in the Microsoft Azureecosystem.Evaluate and recommend new hostingand cloud technologies, tools, and services that can enhanceoperational efficiency and improve businessoutcomes.Define and enforce hosting and cloudpolicies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance withregulatory requirements and industry bestpractices.Manage vendor relationships,including negotiations, contracts, and performance evaluations, toensure effective service delivery and cost optimization.EssentialQualifications And SkillsStrong technical and operationalskills in hosting and cloud services, with a particular emphasis onMicrosoft Azure. Proficiency in Azure infrastructure,virtualization, networking, security, and management tools isessential.Proven experience in developing andexecuting hosting and cloud strategies aligned with business goals,considering both technical and financialaspects.Demonstrated ability to managebudgets, analyse financial data, and make informed decisions tooptimize costs and resourceallocation.Exceptional problem-solving andcritical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complextechnical and operational issues, identify root causes, and developeffective solutions.Strategic mindset with theability to align technology initiatives with business objectivesand drive innovation through technologyadoption.Strong leadership and team managementskills, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team oftechnical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration,continuous learning, and professionalgrowth.Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders atall levels, including senior management, cross-functional teams,and external vendors.Project managementproficiency, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manageresources, and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.Familiarity with financialprinciples, budgeting, and cost management, enabling the effectivemanagement of financial accountability and budgetaryconstraints.
