Job DescriptionBasic Skills:3-5 years of experience with building modern applications utilizing services like Cloud Build, Cloud Functions/ Cloud Run, GKE, Logging, GCS, BigQuery & IAM. (AWS equivalent)A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).Key Skills for the role:Demonstrated understanding of the "three pillars": logs, traces, and metrics.Demonstrated ability to present data observability information in ways that foster trust from consumers.Experience in Observability monitoring setup and configurations using OpenTelemetry solution and instrumenting application for telemetry data.Experience in delivering application performance monitoring visualizations with any of the following: ELK / Newrelic / Datadog / Splunk/ Grafana.Experience with GCP Alerts, Scripting & Automation, Performance Tuning, and Data Visualization.Network infrastructure, Firewall, Load balancing concepts and Security implementations.Familiarity with distributed tracing tools like Jaeger or Google Cloud Trace.Understanding of how to monitor RESTful and GraphQL APIs for availability, latency, and performance.Ability to design and collect relevant metrics and telemetry data, as well as define key performance indicators (KPIs).
