URGENT! Commercial ManagerI have fantastic job opportunity for a Commercial Manager to work on the Western province.his is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career in the Middle East.Cost Control & Claims• Ensure initial cost plans are sufficient to carry out the works to be undertaken.• Provide cost report information to internal and external clients to enable business and project objectives to be met.• Forecast and monitor cash flow to ensure a positive cash flow is maintained.• Produce cost analysis feedback / lessons learnt to the company for future works.• Ensure that a change control procedure is in place to monitor design changes and control costs.• Prepare and monitor project/package risk schedules.Contract Administration:• Oversees the projects from a commercial perspective to ensure alignment with the agreement (budget, time, resources.• Assesses the feasibility of the agreements and projects to ensure optimum return on investment.• Builds and maintains relationships with the key resources (customers, partners, project managers, and sub-contractors) to ensure that the project is completed in line with the commercial agreements • Manage the processes involved in estimating, budgeting and controlling costs so that projects can be completed within approved budgets.• Develops adequate policies, procedures and processes for the Cost Control function to maintain efficient operational excellence.• Report on earned value and productivity indices• Reviews project drawings, specifications, BOQs and other contract documents in order to prepare an accurate & comprehensive workable budget and cost control plan, and propose expert advice for improvements and alternate action plans when costs exceed budgets.• Ensure that budgets are properly integrated with a change control system.• Preparing cost trending & forecasting analysis for project costs, communicating these to all related parties, highlighting concerns and heeds, recommending necessary measures, actions and methods.• Build up the Cost Control department so that it has the necessary and sufficient professional staffing and tools.
