Job Description:

The role exists to develop, implement and monitor the master data governance guidelines, processes, rules and policies across the Group. This includes ensuring the creation, monitoring and management of good data governance rules and standards, monitoring compliance to the standards, and the development of scorecards indicating the level of compliance/good governance within all divisions.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data governance procedures and policies for relevant data area, in consultation with Data Strategy & Governance Lead.

Use specialist knowledge and expertise to identify improvements through reducing data redundancy and appropriate data reuse.

Review master data governance audits and evaluations and advise on required corrective actions.

Act in the capacity of a subject matter expert, guiding business and other stakeholders on all master data guidelines, standards and governance.

Advise on resolution of governance issues and appropriate corrective action, as required.

Develop and implement performance and data quality metrics and ensure measurement against key result areas.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in data management, data governance or master data management

In-depth understanding of relevant data area critical (e.g. data governance, product, customer, associate, e-commerce, location, asset, vendor or finance data etc.)

2 years' experience managing a team

Degree or diploma in data management, data governance or similar relevant field

Relevant data governance management certifications is advantageous
