Lead Analyst- Multi Asset Investing

Wipro is looking for Lead Analyst opening for Credit Portfolio Management team.Job Description:Maintaining and improving market-based and/or investment-specific monitoring tools and datasets critical to investment diligence and risk management; tools and analytics may require knowledge in Bloomberg functions, advanced Excel formulas, and SQL queries, as well as familiarity with performance analytics and asset class-specific risk metrics.Developing analytical tools to process, evaluate, and visualize large datasets provided by hedge fund investment managers, sell side organizations, and third-party research providers.Evaluating hedge fund manager performance against expectations for a given environment and financial market moves (e.g., analyzing known fund holdings and positioning versus pricing moves in underlying securities and derivatives)Conducting hedge fund manager performance peer group analysis (e.g., compare performance of XYZ fund to its strategy peers through third-party data sources).Partnering with the technology team and Innovations team to develop and improve investment risk monitoring tools and processes related to investment data.Creating materials for investment committee presentations, portfolio updates, and market updates for Senior Management and external investors.Evaluating opportunistic public market investments, co-investments, and portfolio hedges through data analysis.Assisting with ad hoc/special projects in support of the team's various responsibilities.Required Skills and experience:Global market - especially US/UK/Europe is mustTotal experience required - 6- 8 years Prior team handling experience of 2-3 years.Fixed Income/ Hedge Funds/ Investment funds/ Multi-Asset Classes ConceptsFundamentals of Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational RiskRisk evaluation and reportingKnowledge of Credit Derivatives/equity, bonds, structured products, municipals.Understanding of SecuritizationFund performance analytics/ Portfolio risk analyticsMarket Pitchbook/ Investment Memos/ Sector coverage/ report writingExposure of traded products/ Capital MarketsMS Office - Advance Excel Skills, Presentation Skills, Advance VBA, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Python,Sigma.Databases/ToolsExposure of Credit Risk Management toolsDatabase of securities through LSE, Euroclear, Stock Exchanges.Bloomberg/CapIQ/Reuters/Pitchbook/Factset/ OpenFigi/ Factiva/Alladin/BlackRock/JPMC/Markit, IDC, Fitch, iCap, Option Metric.Please share your resume at satbir.kaur@wipro.com PRB
