Civil Structural Designer

Job Title: Civil/Structural DesignerLocation: GK-II , New DelhiDepartment: Engineering/DesignJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil/Structural Designer to join our clients engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and analysing structural systems using industry-standard software such as STAAD-Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD. This role requires a thorough understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and Analysis:Develop detailed structural designs and perform structural analysis using STAAD-Pro, ETABS, and SAFE.Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD.Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Project Coordination:Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated and coordinated designs.Assist in the preparation of project specifications, reports, and related documentation.Quality Assurance:Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, verify existing conditions, and ensure compliance with design specifications.Review and check drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.Updated with Various Indian Standard Codes and Specifications related to RCC, Steel Structures and their Design .Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation and records.Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior engineers and project managers.Technical Support:Assist in troubleshooting design and construction issues as they arise.Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.M-Tech/ME in Structural Engineering /DesignExperience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil/structural design and analysis.Proven experience with STAAD-Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD.Skills:Strong knowledge of structural design principles and practices.Proficiency in using structural analysis and design software (STAAD-Pro, ETABS, SAFE).Advanced skills in AutoCAD for drafting and design.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Certifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is a plus.Work Environment:Office-based with occasional site visits.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and a portfolio to Email id jobs@gramhrsolutions.comThis job description is intended to convey essential job functions and basic duties.
