Brief Description Main purpose of the post: This role primarily responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting of donor-funded projects within the school. This role involves budgeting, financial analysis, compliance monitoring, and reporting to ensure the efficient utilization of donor funds and adherence to grant agreements and budgets. The incumbent will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, facilitating efficient project execution, and contributing to the overall financial sustainability of Wits Business School. The Senior Finance Officer focuses on financial management and reporting related to projects within the school, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, optimizing resource allocation, and providing financial guidance and accountability to project managers, donors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial administration and reporting. The incumbent must have a round knowledge of accounts payables, accounts receivables, reconciliations, and payroll functions. The incumbent is expected to perform any additional duties related to the Finance Officer function deemed relevant by the Finance Manager and the School.
