Description:
Certification engineer provides certification expertise within an integrated design process thereby ensuring the final design be fully compliant with requisite certification and airworthiness requirements.
Responsibilities:
Management of GOC certification/completions activities to achieve and supply quality documentation.
Verification checks on Engineering documentation prior to database population and the implementation of Limits of System Handover (LOSH).
Co-ordination, preparation, and review of hard and soft copy completions documentation packages including associated certification, LOSH, management of change, punch list items and as-built documentation.
Interface management of all discipline inputs to the completions process including supporting vendors / suppliers.
Requirements:
Complete familiarity and experience in the use of GoCompletions (GoC) experience is essential.
Recognised engineering qualification and / or a proven relative industry experience in completions and handovers. Minimum 12 years' experience.
Strong communication skills to present the GoCompletions (GOC) system and processes to contractors/vendors.
Have an understanding of engineering drawings for all disciplines.
Ability and experience to manage across all disciplines and diverse cultures.
Has previously held a role in completions and handovers.
Support discipline inspectors on the completions process and ITR completion.
Familiarisation with the management and co-ordination of GoCompletions and processes in relation to construction, inspection & commissioning activities.
Fully conversant with the theory and implementation of Limits of System Handover (LOSH).
Motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work with minimum supervision.
