Exciting opportunities lie ahead with a leading global food company based in Germany, specializing in importing and distributing coffee machines and hot beverage solutions. They seek dynamic sales professionals to join their team in Cape Town, playing pivotal roles as the company expands. The primary focus of this role is to secure new business through proactive outreach and converting prospects into loyal customers. Meeting sales targets and ensuring client satisfaction are crucial to achieving success in this position.Key Responsibilities:Achievement of Sales Targets:Meet personal sales quotas for new business and customer acquisition.Cold Calling:Proactively acquire new clients.Upsell and cross-sell products effectively.Focus on expanding the customer base.Independently generate and convert leads.Customer Relationship Management:Cultivate relationships with potential clients.Successfully convert leads into signed contracts.Reporting:Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts.Submit detailed daily activity and sales reports.Maintain current records of marketing-generated leads.Desired Experience & Qualifications:Minimum Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent.Proficient in MS Office suite.Clean criminal record.1-2 years' experience in corporate and SME sales, demonstrating a track record in acquiring new clients.Own reliable transportation.Ideal Candidate Profile:Extensive background in FMCG, particularly within the food and beverage sector.Energetic and adaptable individual comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Strong sales acumen with solid business sense.Exceptional presentation and communication skills.Effective decision-making abilities.Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills.Capable of setting and achieving goals.Thrives under pressure and manages stress effectively.Professional telephone and email etiquette.Competent in building relationships, strategic account planning, and process management.Salary:Month 1 - Basic R16 000 + R4000 commission guarantee.Month 2 - Basic R16 000 + R4000 commission guarantee.Month 3 - Basic R16 000 + R2000 commission guarantee + commission.Month 4 - Basic of R16 000 plus commission.Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, please note that your application has been unsuccessful.
