As a Senior Manager, Category Management, you will be our local leader in India.Youll direct strategic sourcing efforts by the local TJX India resources for non-merchandise spend areas of the business. You will provide direction and oversight into the execution of sourcing plans and projects in partnership with the US based management team; ensuring Business Partners and TJXs overall budget and business objectives are met.Provide oversight and direction to the team in their execution of strategic sourcing projects including RFx and negotiations.Recruit, train, and manage associates and develop them for future growth in partnership with regional based resources.Provide leadership in the development, execution and alignment of Global Strategic Category Plans in collaboration with Regional and Global Business Partners.Ensure team members execute agreements in compliance with TJX Approval Authority Schedule and Audit requirements.Ensure execution of GS&P Strategic Vision and goals as well as the execution of all Global Sourcing and Procurement Processes.Collaborate with Business Partners in the India office to drive value for the business while maintaining high quality service standards. Builds trust with key local Business Partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction.Participate in the development and execution of contracts for the India office and ensure compliance to TJX Approval Authority Schedule and Audit requirements.Support local sourcing activity for the India office.Actively challenge current product or service requirements; present new sourcing strategies to drive cost savings; recommending new ways to manage demand through process redesign.What you will need:We seek self-motivated colleagues who can demonstrate their talent and experience to identify, triage, and support the smooth operation of sourcing initiatives. You'll work with our finest thought leaders to correlate ongoing efforts with key business outcomes.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor degree or Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 to 12 years strategic sourcing, procurement or related experience including a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.Strong organizational and project management skills.Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.Strong command of procurement/sourcing systems and Microsoft SuiteExcellent interpersonal relationship development skills when interacting with Associates, colleagues, and leaders.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyze data related to spend, supplier performance, and market trends. Ability to recognize trends within spend categories.Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.Experience in the retail industry and managing multinational Business Partners and suppliers.
