Job Title: Senior Financial Reporting AnalystBusiness Unit: FinanceFunction: Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting & TaxationSub Function: Financial reportingExperience (Min to Max): 8-10Location: MumbaiEducational Qualifications: CAJob Description : Financial reporting as per the Indian GAAP & complete understanding of Ind AS as applicable for banksEnsuring timely closure books of accounts (monthly & quarterly), preparing annual financial statements and disclosure in Notes to AccountsCo-ordination with the Statutory and Internal Auditors and to ensure timely completion of Audit.Preparing various notes for submission to the Audit Committee/Board on Related Party Transactions, Proposed Dividend, Note on suspense/sundry accounts, Auditors remuneration etc.Analytical Review of the Financials for decision making.Co-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs/financials to the teams for the yearly/quarterly MIS reporting.Implementation of accounting related projects in various systems like CBS, Trade, Misys etc. for wholesale & Retail segments and also providing ongoing support for accounting related matters across the systems and products in the BankReviewing product notes, designing accounting entries for the new products.Process improvements, risks and controls assessment from the financial reporting perspective.Building controls around GLs to prevent fraudulent/misuse of GLs, rationalisation of GL accounts and Chart of Accounts.Assisting in Strategic initiatives like mergers & acquisitions, portfolio acquisitions, corporate restructuring etc.Automation of manuals activities/compilation of data, system enhancements from accounting perspectiveAn Ideal Candidate should possess:8-10 years of Banking experience in Financial reportingKnowledge on accounting Software-ImplementationExperience in Financial Reporting & AuditExperience in RBI Reporting & Finance Control ComplianceWorking knowledge of IFRS accounting standardsExperience in Policy Formation in compliance with RBI GuidelinesCBS/GL KnowledgeIndustry Preferences :Banking, NBFC PRB
