Procurement Specialist

RPO Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join a well-established Food and Beverages company based in Olifantsfontein. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for the organization.Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of the organization Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships Monitor and analyze market trends, assess supplier performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate procurement records and reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet the procurement needs of the organization Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Food and Beverages industry Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software Analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team BenefitsSalary: negotiableRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
