Construction Foreman / Surveyor

Overview Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman / Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive site experience in pipework and road construction, complemented by a strong background in surveying. This role demands a team player who can excel in a high-pressure environment, maintaining high attention to detail and ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Conduct accurate surveying to inform project planning and execution. Coordinate and oversee pipework installations including sewer, water, and stormwater systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes. Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved. Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Resolve any on-site issues promptly to minimize project delays. Requirements Minimum of 5 years in construction with a focus on pipework and road construction. Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a preference for candidates with a background in surveying. Proficient in field surveying techniques and equipment. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple aspects of construction. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and leadership skills. Demonstrated experience in managing pipework systems (sewer, water, stormwater). Proven track record in road construction projects. Ability to work well under pressure, high attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
