Animal Caretaker

Responsibilities : Feed and water animals according to the schedule Clean and maintain animal enclosures Groom animals Provide medical care and monitor animal health Observe animal behavior and report any concerns to the Animal Care Manager Socialize animals and provide enrichment activities Answer questions from the public about animals Assist with research projects Other duties as assigned Key Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Strong time management skills, Strong customer service skills. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience working with animals A valid driver's license is essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Ability to work weekends and holidays
