Senior Manager Data Analytics

The Data Analytics Technical Manager is responsible for leading a team of data professionals in the development, deployment, and management of data analytics solutions on various public cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Open Source This role involves leveraging open source tools to optimize data workflows and ensuring that analytics solutions meet the strategic objectives of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Provide technical guidance and support to team members.Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for cloud-based data analytics solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.Ensure alignment of analytics initiatives with business objectives.Cloud Platform Expertise:Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data analytics solutions on Azure, GCP, OCI, and AWS.Evaluate and integrate open source tools and technologies to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based analytics solutions.Project Management:Manage multiple analytics projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.Monitor project progress and performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.Data Governance and Compliance:Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices.Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.Monitor data quality and implement measures to maintain data integrity.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud data analytics.Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics or related fields.At least 7 years of hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, OCI, AWS).Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.Technical Skills:Proficiency in cloud-based data analytics tools and services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Fabric, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, OCI Data Flow).Experience with open source tools such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and other relevant programming languages.Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Certifications (Preferred):Azure Data Engineer AssociateGoogle Professional Data EngineerAWS Certified Data Analytics - SpecialtyOracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Science CertificationRelevant certifications in open source data tools PRB
