The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications through the development and execution of automated tests.Responsibilities:• Automate API testing and test GET, PUT, POST and DELETE functions.• Develop and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript, with a focus on either Selenium or Playwritght or Cypress test framework• Collaborate with developers to identify and prioritize test cases for automation• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline using CI/CD Pipelines.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data• Communicate test results and progress to the team and stakeholders• Continuously improve the test automation framework and processesEssential experience/requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• 6+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation• Strong programming skills in JavaScript• Strong exposure and experience in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Rest Assured or Swagger.• Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using Rest Assured, Rest Sharp or a similar tool. Strong experience with API testing (REST API).• Experience with Cypress test framework is a bonus• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies• Specialised in both front end & back end testing• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improveWe are looking for people to have great passion, personal and technical skill.
