Capital Market Associate

The ideal candidate must have worked in a law firm (or with a merchant banker) in the capital market space and must have good knowledge of securities laws and must also have knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) and Contract Act.He or she must have handled capital market transactions on his/her own . Expert legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, bond issuances, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance matters.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including prospectuses, offering memoranda, underwriting agreements, and disclosure documents.Conduct due diligence and risk assessments to identify legal issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Advise clients on securities laws and regulations, including SEC regulations, stock exchange rules, and corporate governance best practices.Collaborate with internal teams, including investment bankers, financial advisors, and compliance officers, to structure and execute capital markets transactions.Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the capital markets industry and provide updates and training to clients and internal stakeholders as necessary.Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and communications with regulatory authorities, investors, and other relevant parties.Assist in the development and implementation of firm-wide policies and procedures related to capital markets activities.
