MSC Hortriculturist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Horticulturist and Landscape Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge, proven skills, and the ability to manage and execute high-quality landscape projects. This role demands a passion for horticulture, strong leadership, and exceptional project management capabilities.*Key Responsibilities:**- Plan, execute, and oversee landscape projects from conception to completion.- Design and implement effective horticultural practices, including cultivation, propagation, pruning, and fertilization.- Diagnose and treat plant health issues, ensuring the vitality and aesthetic appeal of all managed landscapes.- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of horticulturists, landscapers, and other personnel.- Utilize landscape design software and tools to create detailed plans and proposals.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.- Implement and promote sustainable landscaping practices.- Maintain high standards of workplace safety.These responsibilities require a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and management skills.*Required Knowledge:- Extensive understanding of plant science, soil science, and pest management.- Proficient in horticultural practices and landscape design principles.- Knowledgeable about environmental regulations and sustainability practices.- Basics of autocad or equivalent software.*Required Skills:- Strong project management and technical skills.- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and customer service skills.- Proficiency in using horticultural tools, equipment, and landscape design software.- Effective team leadership and financial management abilities.*Required Abilities:**- Exceptional attention to detail and physical stamina.- Creative and adaptable, with strong decision-making and time management skills.- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork and client interactions.QualificationsMSc/BSc in Horticulture is must.
