SAP BASIS ConsultantLocation: Chennai / PuneExperience: 10+ yearsNotice Period: Immediate JoinerAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team and play a vital role in supporting and maintaining our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, system configuration, and experience with various migration projects.Responsibilities:Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.Configure and manage SAP system parameters, user accounts, security authorizations, and authorization profiles.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.Implement and manage SAP system backups and disaster recovery procedures.Perform system refresh activities.Manage and maintain SAP Basis components like Database (Oracle), Central Service Instance (CI), Message Server (MS), Dialog Instance (DI), and more.Administer SAP Content Server and MaxDB database.Possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration, including Data Guard concepts and replication techniques.Work effectively with other IT teams (development, operations) to ensure smooth SAP system operation.Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP Basis technologies and best practices.Skills Required:Proven experience (10+ years) in SAP Basis administration across various SAP releases.Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and configuration.In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.Experience with Unix operating systems and scripting languages (Shell Scripting).Experience with SAP Content Server and MaxDB administration is a plus.Experience with SAP Solution Manager and migration projects is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
