Chartering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Chartering professional from dry bulk shipping with experience in panamax and supramax desk with minimum 4-5 years of experienceHe/she must be having strong understanding of market dynamics, vessel operations and industry regulations. Should be a strategic thinker with ability to drive business growth with good negotiation and contract management skills.Will be responsible for commercial and chartering through optimize vessel utilization, negotiate profitable agreements and navigate market complexities. Drive business development initiatives, build key industry relationships, and collaborate with high-performing team to ensure operational excellence and sustained growth in this dynamic and competitive market.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd to end chartering, negotiate charter agreements to maximize profitability and mitigate risksEfficient & productive planning of cargo fixtures with position merits- optimum engagement of cargo and vessel with profitabilityMarket capitalization and formulating growth for the company in terms of additional tonnages and revenue earningsEfficient voyage estimations, trade routes and charter rates finalizationBusiness Development: Growth in existing business & new business acquisitionCustomer relationship management with major Indian & global customersEffective negotiation with existing & prospective customersCargo & vessel fixtures with profitability with overall accountability to the P&L account of the business verticalthe focal window representation between shipping company, Charterers, traders and head owner.Cargo & vessel fixtures with profitability with overall accountability to the P&L account of the business verticalIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and collaborations in the focused marketFoster and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and industry stakeholders to increase market presence.Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential commercial and operational risksStay updated with industry developments, geopolitical factor, regulatory changes affecting the focused marketAdministering fleet growth & business efficient deployment of risk management tools (bunker hedging, FFA hedging & physical hedging etc.)Ensuring compliance to relevant laws, regulations and protocolsEnsuring adherence to the standard operating manual of the company at all times PRB
