Security Architect

Job Overview:As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our enterprise's securityposture in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will be at the forefront ofdesigning and implementing cutting-edge security architectures that protect ourassets and data against sophisticated threats. This role demands a visionaryapproach to security, a deep understanding of current cybersecurity trends, and theability to innovate and adapt to protect the business.Responsibilities:• Strategic Security Design: Develop comprehensive security architectures,integrating advanced security practices, to safeguard against emergingthreats. Focus on cloud security, AI-driven threat detection, and the adoptionof zero-trust principles.• Standards and Frameworks: Define and update technical security standardsand principles, incorporating industry best practices and compliancerequirements from frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and GDPR.• Security Reviews and Threat Modeling: Conduct rigorous securityassessments and threat modeling for ongoing and new projects, ensuringdesigns meet stringent security standards. Implement continuousimprovement practices for threat identification and mitigation.• Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in developing bothhigh-level and detailed technical designs, ensuring security is integrated at allstages of project development.• Risk Management and Compliance: Perform in-depth risk analyses andcompliance assessments, contributing to the overall security strategy androadmap. Advocate for a balanced approach to risk management thatsupports business objectives while protecting critical assets.• Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends,tools, and technologies. Lead initiatives to pilot and adopt innovative securitysolutions that enhance defense capabilities.• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key advisor on security matters tostakeholders across the organization. Provide expert guidance on securitybest practices, risk management, and technology solutions.Requirements:• Experience: A minimum of 12 years in IT, with at least 10 years focused onInformation Security. Demonstrated experience in security architecture andstrategy is essential.• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.• Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP,CISM) is highly desirable.• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge in security domains, cloud securityarchitectures, data protection, network security, and identity management.Experience with defensive and offensive security strategies.• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, the ability towork collaboratively across diverse teams, and strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.Desired Skills• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their security tools.• Familiarity with Big Data analytics and its application in security.• Understanding of SAP security and experience with related projects.
