Job Description: As a DevOps Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing the DevOps practices within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline our software development lifecycle, enhance automation processes, and ensure the seamless integration of development and operations teams. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the adoption of best practices to optimize our software delivery pipeline. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement and learning. Develop and implement DevOps strategies to improve software delivery efficiency, quality, and reliability. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support DevOps initiatives. Setup and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments, ensuring scalability, availability, and security. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration management. Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues in production environments. Analyze system performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance reliability and performance. Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices for securing infrastructure and applications. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) related to data security and privacy. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster collaboration and alignment throughout the software development lifecycle. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns. Skills: Minimum 6 years of ExperienceStrong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code. Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus.
