Responsibilities:

Work closely with Business Lead and Managers, Project Directors with a focus on earthworks, landfills, solid waste, and site remediation design

Coordinate all aspects of the civil design including being responsible for the design.

Develop or verify the technical scope of a project.

Complete civil designs following the budget and schedule.

Participate in design coordination meetings and address critical issues.

Work closely with the engineering group to facilitate decision-making related to civil design.

Ensure the client's requirements including specifications and standards are integrated into the project.

Ensure quality controls processes are being followed.

Mentor and develop junior staff.

Represent GHD at Client meetings when required.

Requirements:

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and P. Eng in Ontario.

Minimum of 10 years of extensive technical design experience.

Proven experience in civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects with a focus on earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy considered an asset.

Experience working in a Design-Build environment is considered an asset.

Detailed understanding of local Agency (or equivalent) Codes and Standards is considered essential.

Experience working in an integrated 3D environment.

Team building and mentoring skills.
