SW engineers work in small teams and design, implement, and test end-to-end software solutions to advance our high-availability and high-performance cloud platform. Our engineers are versatile and enthusiastic, take great pride in our shared vision, quality, and collaboration and continuously push forward our technology platform.In this role, you will:Leadership and Team Management:Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices.Coordinate and manage testing efforts across multiple projects and teams.Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers as needed, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.QA, Test Planning and Strategy:Develop Test strategies and plans for new software features in collaboration with Product Management, UX, and Engineering team members to deliver high quality with excellent user experience.Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for end-to-end testing of web applications. Design and execute all aspects of tests towards current and next-generation Custom Health software platforms, the scope of which includes both frontend and backend services.Ensure thorough testing of user interfaces, back-end services, and integrations.Identify and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and risk assessments.Design, develop, and maintain software test infrastructure and scripts required for automated and manual testing.Participate in work planning, breaking down big items into small tasks and subtasks in an agile development environment.Publish test reports with adequate details to provide insights into test coverage, status, and trends.Continually raise the bar and evangelize a high standard and contribute to strengthening our culture and continuous improvements to our process and products. Partner with leaders and peers to identify and take initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.8+ years of software test/QA experience.Expertise in testing web applications and REST-based backend APIs over microservices and/or databases.Experience with testing in cloud environments/deployments.Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, TestCafe).Experience with UI test automation.Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git/GitLab.What we are looking for:Passion for working with healthcare and building great technology and products with excellent user experience.A self-starter and an excellent problem solver who can work comfortably from big picture to low-level details. Strong software lifecycle managementskills.A motivated engineer who works with purpose, modesty, and respect for all people.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical and project issues clearly and concisely.Also nice to haves:Prior healthcare or Pharmacy-related industry experience.Fluency in programming languages such as Python or other scripting languages.Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.Experience testing native mobile applications.Software development experience.Experience with complex systems which include software, hardware, and external devices.Job Type:Remote: This is a remote position, and you will primarily work from home.Full-time Salaried
