Director of Sales, Private Events

Title: Director of Sales, Private Events Location: Ridgedale, Missouri Salary : $90,000-$100,000 plus commission and bonus We are partnered with a venue management & live events leader and they are looking for a Director of Sales, Private Events to join their team in Ridgedale, Missouri! They are looking for someone to generate new private event business, in addition to maintaining current client base, ideally coming from the Events or Hospitality industry. You will be expected to build strong partnerships and maximize private event revenue. In addition, you will be responsible for developing yearly event goals, as well as managing the P&L for private events. The ideal candidate will be an experienced seller, coming from an outbound sales role and able to make cold calls and drive business. Required Skills/Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, ideally coming for the Hospitality, Events or Entertainment Venue focused on event sales Ideal candidate with be an experienced seller, someone comfortable with cold-calling and in-person prospecting Ideal candidate will be a strong closer, with a hunter sales mentality with experience in event sales & hospitality
