Operations Manager (Information Technology) We are seeking an Operations Manager for a digital solutions and services provider. The successful incumbent will be accountable for the delivery of services that meet and exceed customer expectations through the effective management of people, process, and technology. The incumbent will also be a trusted advisor and transform IT services by continually improving technology, service delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Key Performance Areas: CustomersDesign and DevelopContinuous Improvement and InnovationStaff Leadership and ManagementInternal ProcessesStakeholdersHeads of Operations and Business UnitsOther Practices and Service linesPeers within the Business UnitAll stakeholders within the operationOther OPCO'sOutsource CustomersCustomersConsultants and Service ProvidersVendorsMinimum Requirements:Qualifications:Matric; National Certificate or Technical Support NQF Level 4 SAQA ID 78966.National Diploma or relevant B Degree.Management Development Program (NQF 6 - 7)ITIL OperationsMCSE or relevant technical equivalent qualificationProject Management CertificationTOGAF certificationITIL Service DesignCertified Cloud ArchitectBusiness AnalystRHEL and SUSE Linux - strong knowledge or certificationVirtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) - strong knowledgeHCI - strong knowledge of a Hyper Converged Infrastructure such as VxRailCitrix - strong knowledge about VDIMonitoring Solutions - good understanding of monitoring solutionsStrong knowledge of AD/ADFS, M365 & ExchangeSCCM and Patch ManagementYears of Experience:More than 7 years as Service Delivery or Operations Manager for an enterprise environment.Experience in service design and implementation.Experience in developing and implementing service standards: service definitions, policies, and procedures, and technical.Proven capability in leading the crafting of responses to address requirements (i.e. RFP's); Solution Writeups, Technical Response and calculation of effort and cost.Experience as a senior technical resource, specialist, or architect.Experience as a technical team lead.Strategic planningITIL OperationsShould you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly to this job advert.
