Johnson & Johnson Medical BV is a commercial operating company of Hospital MedTech EMEA responsible for sales & marketing of the Medical Devices portfolio in the Netherlands and is recruiting for:   Business Unit Controller Ethicon Location: Amersfoort, Netherlands As part of the Business Unit Finance (BUF) you provide strategic finance support to the Hospital MedTech commercial organization, ensuring value creation is at the heart of decision-making. The BU Controller will be member of the Ethicon Leadership team and provides financial leadership for a for $75MM+ business. This position will report into the Country Finance Lead MedTech, Netherlands.  Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering Strong business partnering to ETH Business Unit Lead & Leadership Team to secure long-term profitable growth through analysis of business opportunities (Rolling Forecast/IBP) and constructive challenging and to ensure that targets are hit and financial commitments are attained. Interpret, communicate and monitor key financial performance metrics (Sales, Price, Gross Profit, OPEX and FCF variables) with Franchise Commercial Teams and actively partner with them to identify issues and agree any resulting actions and ensure successful execution and follow-up Shape key commercial processes & profit improvement actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to increase efficiency and/or improve business insights Lead the ongoing forecasting cycles, e.g. Latest Thinking, Business Plan & Updates, Mid-Term Planning through engagement with key business partners for Ethicon Franchise and support the Business Unit Lead in setting targets. Partner with Shared Service in Accounting (Global Services Finance) and FP&A on closing and reporting activities to ensure timely reporting Lead the cross-franchise OPEX Controls for HC & costs incl. Reporting, Planning & Continuos Improvement as SME as well as manage & monitor hosted headcounts. Support in SigniFi implementation and process optimization projects Compliance Ensures compliance with the J&J WWP, SOX, Revenue Recognition, HCBI and Business Conduct procedures Qualifications University Degree (Master or equivalent) in Finance or related area; CPA, CMA certificates are a plus A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Finance and relevant business experience Extensive experience and proven track record of financial business partnering with focus on value creation Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and ERP systems is required. Fluent in English and Dutch Experience and Skills: Required: Strong collaborative, framing & communication and interpersonal skills Be curious, monitor, analyze and interpret the external / macroeconomic environment, framing the possible financial implications and partner with the business to develop actions based on external insights A passion to influence business decisions and business partners Positive, pro-active analytical and result oriented person taking personal ownership and accountability. Ability to work flexibly under time pressure in a dynamic virtual environment while sustaining high accuracy of business results Eager to innovate processes and adopt new technologies & processes to drive optimization, going for continuous improvement of processes and value creation while balancing the needs of all business partners Preferred: Experience at a similar level, in Medical Devices or within a multinational environment desireable Experience in a matrix environment is a plus Experience with advanced data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) is preferred.
