Director And General ManagerOur client is searching for a Director and General Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for directing sales, customer service, manufacturing and quality activities. A successful candidate manage customer relationships, growing key new business lines, manage the shops and field projects. This role reports directly to the Business Unit President.Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability ToCoordinate corporate sales and operational resources to manage the day to day operations of two locationsServe as top level customer contact for major customers, oversee customer service teams, and coordinate quoting and customer proposals and optimizing products across both facilitiesCoordinate shop operations and field operations and quality teamsMaintain target sales backlog along with manpower and resources sufficient to meet or exceed financial targetsCoordinate ongoing customer approval efforts with support of the local and corporate new product teamsClosely collaborate with the finance team to manage costs, forecast sales and profit, and drive overall financial performanceYour strengths include: Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science10+ years of combined leadership, sales, and operations experience within the thermal spray or high precision machining sectors.Sales or technical experience with oil and gas, mining, refining or petrochemical sectorsStrong interpersonal skills to foster external relationships with internal collaboration with Finance, Technology, and Operational teamsHighly developed communication, negotiation, and problem resolution skillsDemonstrated understanding of managing financial objectives and targets within a technically oriented businessAbility to travel 10% of the time.If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the "Apply" button to send your resume directly to Andre Donado.Recruitment Partners Inc. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
