Job title : Head of Store jobs in Lagos Job Location : Lagos Deadline : June 05, 2024 Quick Recommended Links Summary: As the Head of Stores, you will be responsible for overseeing the central warehouse and multi-stores across Lagos & Ogun state, ensuring the efficient and effective store operations across our multiple locations while driving strategies to optimize inventory and materials management. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse and store operations
- Manage the central warehouse and store's budget and control expenses. Meet with the team quarterly, communicate new procedures and emphasize adherence to SOP’s.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to gather demand insights for material planning.
- Ensure the organization's inventory practices are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives. Generate regular reports on inventory performance and key metrics.
- Develop strategies for disposing of obsolete or slow-moving inventory to minimize financial losses.
- Manage the warehouse facility and distribution logistics
- A first degree in related field
- Proven experience as a Head of Stores or Stores Manager preferably within the Quick Service Restaurant & FMCG industry.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing, inventory and multi-stores management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other stakeholders.
