Senior Linux Engineer

• Auckland CBD
• Rolling 6 month contract
• MSP experience preferred

About the company: Our client is a cloud MSP and needing a Linux Engineer to assist a nationwide client. This role would be reporting to the Solution Architect and managing & maintaining a variety of Linux Systems.  A day in the life:

• Crafting and adapting playbooks (YAML)
• Enhancing legacy Red Hat servers
• Renewing SSL certificates
• Performing a range of standard system admin duties

The tech the ideal candidate should have exposure to:

• Artifactory
• Splunk for logging
• Java
• Apache
• Nginx
• Ansible
• RabbitMQ
• F5 Load Balancer
• PRTG, the monitoring tool of choice
• MariaDB / MySQL
• Atlassian products, including Confluence
