- Driving positive, strategic change towards a new future of work for the region
- Overseeing and leading Council's long term planning and delivery functions including asset management, engineering services, project and programme delivery, information technology, service planning, workforce planning and strategic planning.
- Lead the strategic development of business continuity plans for service areas and ensure they are actionable
- Manage the acquisition, design, building, operation and maintenance of Council infrastructure assets in accordance with asset management plans
- Leadership and growth of a talented team with high delivery expectations
- Experience at a strategic senior leadership level, preferably in local government
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience of developing strong partnerships with stakeholders to influence the right outcomes for council
- Deep understanding of council processes and experience of manoeuvring comfortably through complex policy, organisational and political dynamics
- Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate a team to foster a positive culture
