- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and ensure accurate quantity surveying.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Develop and implement billing and invoicing procedures for civil projects.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices.
- Address and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in collaboration with team members.
- Analyze project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to management.
- Regularly review project budgets and financial reports to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to quantity surveying and billing.
- Collaborate with legal and project management teams to address any contractual disputes or issues.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate data for quantity surveying and billing.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members involved in quantity surveying and billing activities.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing for civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and billing.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- In depth understanding of real estate industry trends.
- Entrepreneurial DNA and a high-ownership approach towards challenges.
