- Develops and spearheads the execution of strategies for regional asset quality and portfolio management particularly Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Cambodia to reduce possible losses for the Group due to credit impairment and provisioning.
- Drives and implements regional initiatives to improve the asset quality of commercial banking with the objective to minimize the possibilities of NPLs.
- Review and monitor new onboarding/enhancement via pre-screening framework.
- Provide direction/account strategy to accounts showing signs of weak or deteriorating credit.
- Budget, monitor and report AQ performance indicators (impairment ratios, loan loss charge, watch list) for regional portfolio.
- Plan and coordinate various AQ assessment across the region, including stress test, risk postures.
- Implement AQ strategy across the region, including BEACON development, portfolio segmentation via 3C etc.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and updates to management and/or committees.
- Conduct COVID-19 AQ Command Centre meeting to share knowledge and strategy in dealing with COVID-19 AQ issues with Group Commercial Banking CEO and countries BU heads, including tracking of moratorium and R&R progress.
- Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
