Pramac , part of the world’s leading gas generator and third largest diesel generator manufacturer, is looking for a Telecom Sales Manager . PRIMARY SCOPE AND GOALS : The Telecom Sales Manager will support the sales network in pursuing sales and contract with both existing and new customers. He/She will prospect new business by advertising, networking, cold calling, or other methods of producing interest from potential clients. The Tecnical Sales Manager will design persuasive approaches and proposals to convert potential clients into business customers by presenting new solutions and services to clients. He/She will develop and maintain existing accounts and working with Global Telecom BDM, marketing, technical staff, and mid and senior level management facilitates managing the activities of workers charged with developing business for the corporation. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To directly manage Key Account(s), in accordance within agreed targets, goals and based on company guidelines, eliciting customer needs and selling
  • Set up and quarterly review/update a sales strategy for Industrial Telecom & Data Center market.
  • Support the sales network to Qualify and develop new dealers and partners
  • To negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the business units and ensure rate sheets are documented and maintained
  • Present new products and services to improve existing relationships
  • To monitor monthly performance against set targets, and ensure that immediate actions are taken in case of deviations
  • Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are implemented by the sales network
  • Submit and ensure data is accurate on weekly progress reports
  • Support Product Management in fulfilling NPIs Technical requirements and dead lines
  • Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE COMPETENCES REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience managing a large territory
  • Experience in the TELECOM-Power Division “BTS & Data Center application”
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Technical understanding of products
COMPETENCIES-QUALIFICATIONS:
  • An understanding of market development
  • Full/clean driving license
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding customer service & sales expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues
  • Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
