Senior SharePoint Developer

Job Description: Capita Technologies is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer with a proven track record of over 9 years in successfully leading and optimizing operations in dynamic environments. We are looking to hire a talented SharePoint developer to create customized SharePoint solutions for our company. As a SharePoint developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff. To ensure success as a SharePoint developer, you should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. Ultimately, a top-class SharePoint developer can create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all company design and functionality requirements. Responsibilities: · Undertaking case/ system study and gathering specific requirements from the client · Formulating project plans, defining scope & estimates, tracking project progress, and ensuring implementation of project plans within pre-set budgets and deadlines (as per Best Practice guidelines)· Planning, scheduling and handling Offshore Delivery Management for technical deliverables of concurrent projects. Driving efforts for outsourcing development activities and setting up remote development environment, in line with the onsite technical environment · Defining escalation/ response/ resolution time for reported problems based on criticality · Mentoring team members. Deploying them based on their skill levels, monitoring their performance and supporting their development through regular training · Serving as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for supporting client on various project and technical issues · Undertaking resource requirement analysis, both for software and manpower · Managing all phases of the SDLC including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, implementation and UAT · Setting tasks and development goals. · Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements. · Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#. · Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications. · Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies. · Testing and debugging code. · Reviewing website interface and software stability. · Troubleshooting software issues.
