A prestigious and innovative security project in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Chief Data Scientist to lead its analytics team. The ideal candidate will be a visionary in the field, blending expertise in data science with a proven track record in strategic leadership. This role demands a high level of proficiency in data management technologies, including Informatica, and a deep understanding of data quality and governance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, analysts, and data engineers to drive the strategic direction of data initiatives. - Design and implement cutting-edge data models and algorithms to analyze diverse datasets and extract actionable insights. - Ensure data integrity and quality across multiple data sources and platforms, leveraging advanced tools in Informatica and other leading technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and business units, to align data science projects with organizational goals. - Spearhead the development and deployment of predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to enhance security measures. - Manage data science resources effectively, ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and schedule. - Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the organization at the forefront of data science in security. Skills Required Skills and Qualifications: - PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years' experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a data-driven environment. - Strong expertise in Informatica tools, data quality frameworks, and data governance practices. - Proficient in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion. - Outstanding leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and grow a team. - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and stakeholders. Desirable Attributes: - Certifications in Data Science, Informatica, or related fields. - Experience in cybersecurity data projects. - Familiarity with regulations and standards affecting data security and privacy.
