Site Sourcing Specialist GE Renewable Energy Renewable Energy Grid Solutions category Sourcing / Supply Chain Mid-Career 02/28/2024 R3755712 Relocation Available: Relocation Assistance:No Türkiye Gebze, Türkiye location Gebze, Türkiye JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Summary You will lead and manage assigned sourcing portfolio and establish and implement strategies for negotiating commodity purchase for optimum pricing and terms. In this role, you will have chance to work hybrid at Gebze Plant. Manage and lead efforts on cost savings initiatives in line with a profit plan and overall business objectives. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Following the Sourcing Strategy; implement Plant Sourcing Action Plans in order to optimize the cost, quality and delivery of purchases. Negotiating commercial conditions (price, payment terms, incoterms, warranty, logistic requirements) with suppliers according to Customer needs and requirements Searching for new suppliers / materials / technologies locally/globally; carrying out supplier selection steps i.e Supplier Assessment and SRG auditing. Negotiating agreements/contracts with suppliers Propose & implement cost reduction actions by using cost models to validate commodity strategies and to understand significant cost drivers Providing analysis on market, new products, newcomers, legal constraints, etc Follow up supplier quality performance and development plans and manage supplier claims Collaborating with the Global Sourcing Team, Global Commodity Leaders and peers involved in other Sourcing initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management No obstacle to work close to Gebze, Kocaeli location Experience managing contracts or vendors. Experience with an ERP system.
