Housing Management Assistant Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Ausschreibungsbereich • WHO MAY APPLY?- Saudi citizens living in the commuting area. - Non-US/Non-Saudi citizens with a valid/current transferrable work permit (Iqama) living within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. - Current T1 employees (USMTM/OPM-SANG and USA-MAG). Hauptaufgaben As Housing Management Assistant for United States Military Training Mission (USMTM), you will perform the following duties:- Assist Housing Manager as subject matter expert on all housing matters and projects. - Help develop, implement, and review all USMTM housing policies, procedures, and applications for each type of housing.- Assists in evaluating the acceptable standards of local housing under renovation or under new construction. - Prepare narrative reports and feedback that provide recommendations for the improvement or correction of housing deficiencies. - Assist in formulating and monitoring tenant directives and instructions concerning assignments, terminations, inspections, maintenance, cleanliness, and other housing activities.- Schedule and ensure timely delivery of all supplemental living items and furniture. - Assist in the overall cyclic management of supplemental items to include assignments, accountability, repairs, and redistribution. - Manages the inbound and outbound assignment of housing to USMTM members. - Conduct inspections and inventories of housing units and assigned property.- Review and track current expenditures for housing operations and maintenance activities.- Estimate projected costs and develop recommendations for resources to accomplish housing operations. Qualifikationsanforderungen In order to receive consideration for this position, candidates must meet the basic requirement and the basic specialized experience requirement, as defined in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards. Additionally, the quality of the experience must clearly demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. • Applicants will be evaluated to ensure experience; training and/or education meet the qualification requirements defined in the Multi-National Recruitment System (MNRS) vacancy announcement.• Quality of experience relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background and recent experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Applicants must have the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level.• Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a DOD Third State Worker T1 position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Restriction. Proof will be required before you can be referred to Management.• Time in Grade Restriction: Must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (or equivalent). - For a T1-06 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the T1-05. - For a T1-07 position, you must have served 52 weeks at the T1-06.EXPERIENCE:The experience described in your application will be evaluated and screened for the basic qualification requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.To qualify for T1-06, the applicant must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the T1-05 (or equivalent) level.Specialized experience for this position is defined as:1. Provide administrative services in the field of housing.2. Advise customers on routine procedures to obtain housing facilities, handling all necessary forms, and explaining regulatory requirements.3. Resolve various problems connected with rent payments, damages and/or maintenance, which may arise during tenancy.To qualify for T1-07, in addition to the specialized experience above, the applicant must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the T1-06 (or equivalent) level.Specialized experience for this position is defined as:1. Help develop, implement, and review housing policies, procedures, and applications.2. Conduct inspections to identify repair/construction deficiencies; determining impact of repairs, improvements or other correctives measures.3. Review and track current expenditures for housing operations and maintenance activities.The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.EDUCATION:Regarding education, please ensure full completeness of your profile in MNRS under "Educational/Occupational Training".Transcripts will be required if you are claiming substitution of education for experience. If the degree/diploma is submitted in any other language than English, a certified translation will be required to allow the BENELUX Civilian HR Service Center to verify the level of education claimed. US education accreditation is not required.Substitution of education: As a general rule, education is not creditable at the T1-06 and T1-07 level; however, it may be credited in those few instances where it is directly related to the work of the position. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Arabic and/or Tagalog are desired. • A valid Saudi Arabian driver's license is required.
