Description:
The Head of Orchestra will have overall strategic, operational and visionary responsibility for the Orchestra, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. Responsible to oversee the complete value chain of the Orchestra management including Artistic direction, musician selection and training, rehearsals, programming, audience development and community outreach.
Job Responsibilities
Setting a long-term artistic vision; executing the work by presenting products and offerings, new and old, that meet the highest artistic standards
Leading artists by motivating musicians and a variety of collaborators to contribute their best efforts to both content and process
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in music, business management, or related field
A track record of successful project management and delivery of a wide range of complex projects at a senior level
