We are moving fast from a traditionaldistributor and retailer for luxury in the Middle East, to a hybridretailer bringing luxury experiences to the fingertips of customerseverywhere.Today, Chalhoub Group stands for 14,000 skilled and talentedprofessionals across seven countries, whose cohesive efforts haveresulted in the Group being ranked third in the Middle East and first inSaudi Arabia as a Great Place to Work.Our Lead Backend Developer will be spearheading backenddevelopment, leading a team, and collaborating cross-functionally.Architect robust microservices, loosely coupled systems, and cloudsolutions for high-quality products.What You will Be DoingLead and mentor backend developers, fostering collaboration and innovationTranslate requirements into efficient backend solutions, collaborating withProduct Managers, Frontend Developers, and DevOps Engineers.Design and develop highly performant APIs using state-of-the-arttechnologies.Implement cloud-based solutions for scalability and high availability.Stay current with backend and cloud advancements, advocating for adoptionas needed.Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality and security.Drive best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates.Own projects from inception to completion, delivering exceptional results.What You will Need To Succeed8+ years hands-on backend and cloud development experience.Proficiency in Node.js, GO or similar.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Bonus: Knowledge of GraphQL and its implementation.Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including server-lessarchitectures.Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience in designing secure APIs and integrating third-party services.Proven track record leading backend projects.Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with backendtechnologies.What We Can Offer YouWith us, you will turn your aspirations into reality.
